Updates from your ZLS PTL – Week of October 13, 2015
School Carnival Gratitude: Thank you one and all for your support of the Zion School Carnival! Preliminary reports show approximately $3,200 was raised to support our goals to add drinking fountains, update technology, and make playground improvements. We had a great turn-out and judging by all the laughter and smiling faces the kids really enjoyed themselves again this year.
Chick-Fil-A Spirit Day: Don’t forget to join us on Tuesday, October 20th at Chick-Fil-A. The class with the most purchases wins a special treat, so be sure to mention your teacher at the time of purchase.
Box Tops Winners: Mr. Hart’s 4th grade class took the prize for most box tops collected in August and September for K-8, with Mrs. Gallegos’ 2nd grade class coming in on their heels to take 2nd place. Mrs. Heideman’s class collected the most for Pre-K. At the end of September, 3,800 box tops have been collected towards this school year’s goal of 31,000 box tops. Keep ’em coming!
PTL Meeting Reminder: Please join us at 6 PM on Wednesday, October 21st for our first PTL meeting of the year. Hear school news from Mr. Brewer and fundraising news from the PTL.
